Because it promotes the lightening of pigment spots, tyrosinase inhibition is one mechanisms depigmenting cosmetic products. Considering adverse effects produced by synthetic actives, search for new therapeutic options desirable, and plant extracts are possible candidates hyperpigmentation treatment. Glycolic Cecropia pachystachya Trécul are, therefore, focus this study.
